The CAD engine (OpenCASCADE) and the 3D engine run inside the browser or the desktop program, on your processor. The file is read from your disk into memory and stays there.
Your files stay with you.
Many online viewers upload the model to a server to convert it. Viquis 3D doesn't. Everything happens on your computer, even when you open it in the browser.
Nothing is uploaded
Not the model, not the measurements, not the quotes. PDFs, 3MF, CSV and images are created on your computer and saved wherever you choose.
No account, no advertising cookies
You don't need to sign up to use the free version. Preferences (theme, language, quote rates) are stored only in your browser.
The only connection: the licence
If you buy Pro, you paste the key once; the app confirms it with our licence service and re-checks it from time to time. The key travels, not your files.
What the manual says
- Your 3D files are opened and processed on your computer. They are never sent to the internet, not even in the online version.
- Checking the licence key is the only communication with the store.
